Overview

Removing cost as a barrier to school

For too many families in Pwani Region, a single term's school fees can mean choosing between a child's education and putting food on the table. Our Education Access & Scholarships programme exists to close that gap — covering tuition, exam fees, uniforms and learning materials for primary, secondary, vocational and university students who would otherwise be at risk of dropping out.

We work directly with head teachers and community leaders to identify students in genuine need, then walk with each one for the full academic year — not just a single payment, but ongoing monitoring of attendance and performance so support arrives before a small setback becomes a dropped-out year.
